Mastering the art of Kimono starts with the right foundation. Our "Build-Your-Own" Kitsuke gift set provides high-quality, boutique-standard tools sourced directly from specialist kimono manufacturers. Whether you are dressing for a formal ceremony or a casual outing, these tools ensure your silhouette remains crisp, elegant, and secure.

🐾 Component Guide: Select Your Essentials

1. Eri-Shin (Collar Stiffeners)
The secret to a perfect neckline. These inserts maintain the elegant "S-curve" and structure of your kimono collar.

2. HadaJuban & Susoyoke (Undergarment)
They are worn underneath the nagajuban as the first layer that touches the skin.
These garments protect your Nagajuban and Kimono from sweat and oils, extending the life of your formal pieces.

3. Koshi-Himo Ties (Set of 3)
Reinforced soft cotton strings to secure your kimono/yukata and keep it from opening

Pro Tip: You typically need 3 for the kimono itself, and an additional 2-4 for complex Obi knots.

How to use the three koshihimo
1. Wear Nagajuban and tie it under your chest.

2. Put on a kimono and tie it to make Ohasyori.

3. Tie under the chest of the kimono.

4. Korin belt
It is a convenient item that can be snapped on by sandwiching the collar to prevent the collar from opening loosely. Both ends are clips, and the belt part is rubber. You can also adjust the length, and the way the collar is aligned is stable and prevents it from collapsing. Can be used instead of himo.

5 & 6. Datejime & Magic Belt (Waist Belts)
Used over the Koshi-Himo to flatten the torso and keep layers flush before the Obi is tied. Includes one traditional fabric Datejime and one "Magic Belt" (Velcro) for quick, secure fastening.

9. Obi Makura/Obi Pillow/Obi Pad/Pad for obi
- Color: Black/Pink/White
This padded support is essential for the Taiko Musubi (drum knot) and other formal styles, giving your Obi the perfect lift and volume.

10 & 11. Obi-ita (Front & Back Boards)
Prevent wrinkles and sagging. These boards slide into the Obi layers to create a smooth, flat surface that looks professional from every angle.

12. Sanju-himo (Triple String)
This strap is a tool used for dressing in more formal obi types like furisode obi-musubi. It enables you to create various shapes of obi tying.

13. Option A/B/C Juban (sent with erishin)
