About the Design We chose the moon as our design motif because it conveys a serene emotion, promoting calmness. This aligns with the feeling of wearing traditional, simple, and understated kimonos. When dressed in such kimonos, one tends to be more mindful of their behavior, becoming more graceful and composed. Thus, we designed a reversible half-width obi with the moon theme to complement this quality. We also carefully arranged the patterns on the obi, allowing customers to tie various shapes of knots, enhancing versatility.
