"The Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido" is a late work by Hiroshige, depicting the administrative divisions of Japan, including the "Five Kinai and Seven Circuits," totaling 68 provinces, collectively referred to as the "Fifty-Three Stations."
Nishijin weaving originated 1,200 years ago and began as the production of fabrics for the imperial court, making it a nationally recognized traditional craft in Japan. Also known as "Japanese Shu Brocade," it is renowned alongside China's Yunjin, Zhuangjin, Shu Brocade, and Song Brocade, collectively referred to as the "Five Famous Brocades of the East." Using high-quality silk fabric and crafted by hand, Nishijin weaving enjoys a prestigious reputation in the textile industry, holding a lofty position.
