🐾 About the Design When we decided to create our hanhaba obi series, we aimed to design something truly unique-pieces that are relatively rare in the market. This obi is one of our proud creations. With a skull theme, this design carries an air of mortality, making it eye-catching and distinctive. However, it's designed in a way that's not overly frightening. We chose a deep black as the base color, complemented by elegant tones in the pattern, allowing the obi to pair beautifully with kimonos. As always, depending on how the obi is tied-whether from the front or back, or starting from the left or right side-it can showcase different patterns at the front when worn with a kimono. We hope that the thought and care we put into this design will make this obi both fashionable and unique, while maintaining a high level of practicality for kimono pairing.
